Comparison
Bushnell Launch Pro vs Uneekor EYE MINI: which is better for a home simulator?
Short answer
Both are camera units that sit beside the ball, read spin from normal balls and sell for about the same at retailers. The EYE MINI includes club data at no extra cost, and GSPro needs only its cheapest paid plan. The Launch Pro locks club data behind Silver and GSPro behind Gold, but Foresight Premier gives it a larger course library.

The Bushnell Launch Pro and the Uneekor EYE MINI cost about the same at retailers, and both are camera units that sit beside the ball. The difference is in the subscriptions. The EYE MINI’s free package includes ball and club data, and its cheapest paid package unlocks GSPro and other third-party simulators. The Launch Pro gives ball data free but needs Bushnell’s Silver tier for club data and its Gold tier, at well over twice the price of Silver, for GSPro. If GSPro is your main simulator, the EYE MINI is cheaper to run. If you want a maker’s own course library, the Launch Pro has the bigger one.
How each one measures
Both use cameras, and neither needs special balls for spin.
The Launch Pro (now sold as the Circle B Edition) stands upright beside the ball. PlayBetter says it uses three cameras, and MyGolfSpy calls it “virtually identical” to the Foresight GC3; Bushnell and Foresight are sister companies. It reports ball speed, launch angles, back spin, side spin and spin axis. With the included club-face markers it adds club speed, smash factor, club path and angle of attack. A built-in screen shows data without any software.
The EYE MINI uses two high-speed infrared cameras, per Carl’s Golfland, and Uneekor’s Dimple Optix tracking reads unmarked balls. It reports ball speed, launch angle, side angle, back spin and side spin, with spin axis, carry and apex shown in its VIEW software. With stickers on the club face it adds club speed, smash factor, club path and attack angle. PlayBetter says it has a built-in E-ink display.
Neither lists face angle, and neither maker labels its numbers as measured or calculated. Launch Pro setup guidance warns that glare on shiny clubs and badly placed markers can cause missed club reads.
What you pay over three years
Neither maker’s list price could be confirmed, so these are retailer prices: $2,999.99 for the Launch Pro and $2,999 for the EYE MINI. Earlier and compare-at prices for both differ from these.
The yearly cost depends on how you play.
- Data only: the EYE MINI’s free Player package includes ball and club data. The Launch Pro’s free tier gives ball data, including spin. Club data needs Silver, $199 a year.
- The maker’s own courses: the Launch Pro needs Silver or Gold plus a Course Pass add-on that costs more than Silver. On the EYE MINI, the Pro package ($199 a year) includes Uneekor Refine.
- GSPro: GSPro requires Gold on the Launch Pro and Uneekor’s Pro package on the EYE MINI. Add a GSPro licence ($250 per year) either way.
Sources disagree on Bushnell’s Gold price; we use the newer figure from Bushnell and PlayBetter. The EYE MINI includes a three-month trial of Uneekor’s top package, and Foresight says new devices include a 30-day trial of Foresight+ and Course Pass. The Launch Pro must also reconnect to the internet at least every 45 days, or its apps stop connecting. The Launch Pro and EYE MINI pages list every plan.
Room space
Neither unit needs space behind you. Bushnell’s manual says to stand the Launch Pro upright beside the hitting area, level with the ball, and to raise it to the mat surface if you hit off a mat. The EYE MINI also sits beside the ball. Both units move to the other side of the ball for left-handed golfers, so a bay shared by right- and left-handed players needs room on both sides.
Neither maker publishes a room size or ball-to-screen distance. PlayBetter gives its own minimum room size for the EYE MINI, but it is a retailer recommendation, not Uneekor’s. For beside-the-ball camera units in general, Shop Indoor Golf suggests 12 to 13 ft of width, 15 to 16 ft of depth and a 10 ft ceiling. Check your room in the Bay Sizer.
Simulator software
Launch Pro. Units bought on or after 18 September 2026 come with the Foresight+ membership and Foresight Premier, a Windows simulator that needs a gaming PC, with more than 100 courses through its Course Pass add-ons. FSX Play and FSX Pro are discontinued for new buyers; earlier owners keep them.
- GSPro works directly through GSPro Connect over Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct or USB, with Gold.
- Awesome Golf lists the Launch Pro. Third-party access is a Gold feature, and whether Gold still includes Awesome Golf in 2026 is not confirmed.
- E6 Connect appears only on Foresight’s 2023 list of Gold integrations.
EYE MINI. Uneekor VIEW is free, runs on a Windows PC connected by Ethernet or on an iPad, and is a practice range with no courses. Refine has 5 courses with Pro and 20 with Refine+ on the higher packages, all South Korean, on Windows only.
- GSPro works directly with the Pro package. GSPro’s pages do not describe the connection.
- E6 Connect works with the Pro package, per Shop Indoor Golf and PlayBetter.
- Awesome Golf lists the EYE MINI in its docs but not in its App Store list.

Who should pick which
Pick the EYE MINI if you will mostly play GSPro or other third-party software, or you want club data without a subscription. PlayBetter gives its battery up to 6 hours.
Pick the Launch Pro if you want a larger course library from the maker in Foresight Premier and are happy to pay for Silver or Gold. Its battery lasts 5 to 7 hours, and PlayBetter says it reads shots off natural grass.
